Loving your writing here, Mary! I love when the divine, Source, comes through in my writing. Can't force it, but can certainly appreciate and honour when it happens.

Mary, I like the way you let us in on your inner wrestlings, which we can then mightily identify with! Kudos for your ability to describe the tension that any spiritually-attuned artist feels.

I once read that spirituality and aesthetics lie closely in the brain. You have testified to this!

Thanks Pat! I did not know about the nearness in the brain of spirituality and aesthetics. No wonder I struggled.

Amen to everything you wrote, Mary. I just finished my morning pages and wrote something along the same lines that you did. I'm holy howling with you. Thanks for sharing!

Love image of “holy howl!” A critical mass of people connected to this universal loving presence is what our world so desperately needs right now.

I sometimes wonder if having to get quiet and really listen has something to do with living in the physical realm. Once we move beyond it, that voice will be loud and clear. My job now is to tune in as best I can and let myself become more and more sensitive to the Divine voice.

Yes! Turn down the external noise so we can better tune in to the interior Divine voice!

This does require some discernment. There are plenty of experts we need to rely on in life. But for those deeper questions, you are the authority!
