Thank you for sharing your journey! It all sounds amazing. I really loved your little paintings. Greeting cards would definitely be of interest to me. If you do decide a waterfalls class is something you would offer, count me in!
Loved seeing these painting all together. What a wonderful adventure. I also enjoyed seeing your travel supplies on Instagram. Wondering ...... the brush in that video looked rather thick for the detailed work you've been doing.
Thanks Linda! Indeed, it was too thick for the detail work. Half way through our trip, I bought a very thin brush at an art store in Galway. I also bought myself a big mop brush and played with it on the purple page. I turned that page into a imagined landscape called "a soft day" by adding a horizon line and a small island in the foreground, A foggy, day of light rain is called "a soft day" over there.
Thanks Stella! Me too! I'm already counting down till my return. This time, I'll only spend a week in the "Ancient East" - the east coast's answer to the "Wild Atlantic Way."
Beautiful! I'm planning a trip to Ireland in the fall of 2025. I'd love to pick your brain sometime. Love you! I would definitely be interested in some larger paintings.
Oh, Mary it all sounds delightful. Your watercolors are awesome! I loved them and wanted you to slow down so I could take each one in more depth. Yes, I would love to learn how to do watercolor and I think you are definitely no imposter! You are an artist! Love, love, love all your posts, though I am not on Facebook or instagram.
I love your creation! It brought back memories of our trip there years ago. And It tempts me to do something of my own when we go to Bingen later this year. If you start teaching watercolor, let me know.

Thank you so much Mary! These are a wee bit bigger than the inchies you've been working on. 💖
I think it is beyond cool that you and hubby got tattoos in Ireland. Your pictures and paintings captured the beauty and magic of your trip. 👏👏👏
Thanks Julie! It was magical. Getting the tattoos was the craziest thing I've done in a longtime!

What about a quick how-to travel journal class in August for your Bingen-bound group?
Thank you so much for sharing! I just moved to Ireland and I love the West Coast. Thanks for sharing all the spots, I will definitely check them out!
Oohh how wonderful! I am considering relocating there. Just a dream, perhaps. What is it about the west coast that is so compelling??
Thanks for responding!
